Day 1

  • AM : Arrival in Pekin. Welcome by your francophone guide. Transfer to the city.
  • AM: Reflexology session in a massage parlor: a 30 minutes traditional Chinese massage followed by a 30 mintues foot reflexology session.
  • PM: Transfer to the hotel. Breakfast buffet in the hotel.
  • PM: Transfer and visit to the Prince Gong Palace. The residency of the Prince Gong, located in the Qianhaixijie street in the Xicheng district of Beijing, is the biggest princely residency of the Qing Dynasty and also the most protected until now.
  • 5 p.m.: Visit the Hutongs in rickshaw.
  • 6 p.m.: Transfer to the restaurant.
  • 7.30 p.m.: For the dinner: “Roast Duck” in a restaurant established in 1864 when the Emperor Tonzhi was at the head of the Qing Dynasty, this restaurant have been recognized as the “ Restaurant Nr 1 in China”.
  • 10.30 p.m: Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 2

  • Breakfast buffet at the hotel.
  • 9 a.m.: Visit the Forbidden City and the TianAnMen Square.
  • In the heart of Beijing, in front of the Forbidden City, the TianAnMen stretches over near 40 hectares and the surroundings are a mixture of extraordinary modern and old sights. Built in 1420 and reconstructed in 1651 the TianAnMen Door (Heavenly Peace Gate) had the same name during the reign of the Emperor Qing Shun Zhi. It was the main entrance of the Forbidden City. Mao Zeding’s proclamation took place on the top of this gate on 1 October.
  • 1 p.m.: Lunch at the Huangchengshifu restaurant near the TienAnMen Square.
  • 3 p.m.: Visit of the Heaven Temple.
  • The T du C is located in a 267 hectares ground, with a door at each cardial points and walls on the north and west. Today it symbolizes Beijing.
  • 4.30 : Visit the Liulichang Street (Antiquare street) which stretches over 750 meters. Its name comes from former varnished tiles manufacture established at the beginning of the 15th century. The traditional Chinese architecture shops in this street principally sell old books, antiquities, engravings, paints, handcraft items,etc.
  • 5.30 p.m.: Transfer back to the hotel.
  • 7.30 p.m.: Dinner in the restaurant Fangshan.
  • 10.30 p.m.: Transfer to the hotel.
  • Night in the hotel.

Day 3

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 8 a.m.: Transfer and visit of the Great Wall- Jinshanling part (3 hours trip)
  • The G M is a whole building of military fortifications, destructed and rebuilt gradually and at different place/ parts between the 3rd century before J.C. and the 16th century to defend China’s north border. It is the biggest architectural structure that has ever been built, in terms of length, surface and masse.
  • 12.30 p.m.: Lunch: Mongolian BBQ on the Great Wall.
  • 3 p.m.: Transfer back to the hotel and time leisure for shopping.
  • 7.30: Dinner at the restaurant.
  • 10.30 p.m.: Transfer back to the hotel.
  • Night in the hotel.

Day 4

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 09h / 12h00: Meeting at the hotel
  • 1:00 pm: Lunch at the hotel
  • 3:00 pm: transfer and visit of the summer Palace. Created in 1750, whim of empress CIXI where is the garden it was built at the end of the last century and represents the architectural fashion of time. This Palace is registered on the heritage of Unesco since 1998.
  • 6:00 pm: appetizer in the court of the restaurant of the summer Palace
  • 7:30 pm: Dinner
  • 10:00 pm: Transfer to the hotel

Day 5

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • 9.30: Visit to the Museum of Urban Planning: rather than a museum, it is a question of an exhibition center, very well designed, of the planning of Shanghai, from 1930 to 2020 that allows you to understand the history of the city, to measure its rapid development in recent years and understand its ambitions.
  • 12.30 p.m.: Transfer and lunch in a restaurant founded in 1744: a real institution in Shanghai. Jiangnan cuisine
  • Free time for shopping
  • 7 p.m.: Dinner.
  • Transfer to airport for flight to Paris.
